Family fun portraits

Hello there, another blog update.  A little while ago I took a portrait of four enthusiastic children and as you can see from the attached photographs we had a lot of fun during the photoshoot.  It nice to try to capture their individual personalities and try to make them feel as relaxed as possible during their time in front of the camera.  I have also started using a new Hahnel radio trigger for my studio lights as my last radio trigger broke.  So far I’m really happy with it as it is a lot more reasonable to buy than the Bowens trigger, can sync at upto 1/250 and apparently has a range of 100 metres (though I haven’t tested it at that range). The other really nice thing about the trigger is that it can not only be used with the studio lights or can be used on your speedlite plus you can by extra receivers.  The only down side is that it is battery powered.
